San Diego is one of the most loved cities in the state, at least for those who come from outside it. Of course it is also extremely popular with Californians, who come from all over their great state to enjoy the pleasures of the beaches and the beautiful afternoon air. San Diego is one of the legendary cities that has a strong visual image in the minds of most people. Whenever one is asked to think about this city the most likely image that will come to mind is of its incredible beaches. And the hotels in San Diego are full of people who came to the city with these images in mind and they can’t wait to get out on the beach and take a swim, relax in the sun or enjoy surfing the waves. Or enjoy some of the many outdoor activities and events And the weather in San Diego is always expected to be sunny, warm and beautiful. So, are all of these associations the stuff of myths and legends, or is San Diego really that beautiful and attractive?
Well, the answer is probably obvious or the reputation the city enjoys wouldn’t last for long and it wouldn’t be one of the top vacation destinations in the state of California. San Diego actually straddles a couple of different climate zones and it has a Mediterranean climate to the north and it is Semi-arid to the south and the east. However, this does not cause tremendous weather differences throughout the city, though some patterns and various breeze temperatures can be noticed. However, overall, the city enjoys some of the most beautiful weather in the country, all year long. Most of the summer months see highs in the upper seventies and the sky is clear and dry. The winter doesn’t cool down much and the typical highs through the season are in the sixties. Overall, San Diego maintains some of the most beautiful weather and geography in the nation.
