Is Justin Bieber an obnoxious brat? That’s what long time cast member,Marg Helgenberger, of CSI seems to think. Helgenberger was of course speaking about Justin Bieber’s recent CSI guest appearances. She claims in an interview with Le Grand Direct des Medias, a French radio show that Bieber’s on set antics included locking a producer in closet and punching a cake that was on the set crew’s snack table. Brat or not, it doesn’t look like Helgenberger or the rest of the CSI crew will have to put up with Bieber any longer as his character on CSI was killed in a police shootout . Maybe they just weren’t ready for Bieber fever?

Paula Adbul was recently revealed to be the latest judge to join Simon Cowell’s X-Factor. The list of judges for the show now consists of Simon Cowell (of course), Paul Adbul, L.A. Reid, and Cheryl Cole. We’ve missed the dynamic between the obnoxious Simon and innocent Paula ever since the duo went their separate ways during the days of American Idol. There are sure to be plenty of insults flying and tears shed by both the judges and the contestants. Here’s hoping though that Simon just brings his dream-crushing King Kong sized ego along with him.

The media swarmed when reports that the teen was pregnant were confirmed. However, Bristol has made the most of the situation, becoming an advocate for teen pregnancy and abstinence. It was also recently confirmed that she has signed up with a speaking agency. When the BP oil rig exploded on April 20 killing 11 workers and dumping several thousand gallons of crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico, many people saw it for the tragedy that it was. However, it seems that this story is not yet over. Several weeks later BP is still unable to control the leak and the oil slick is continuing to grow and move closer to the coast. In an effort to understand what happened to cause this disaster, as well as bring the situation under control, the US Congress began its official hearing yesterday. It is uncertain how long it will take to question all of the top executives and investigate the specifics of the case, but they will certainly have their work cut out for them as no one is willing to accept the blame. The first weekend of May proved tragic for the states of Tennesse, Kentucky and Mississippi. Although all three states have sustained damage and even loss of life, Tennessee has received the brunt of the damage. Nearly 20 people have died so far—the number is expected to rise as the water levels decrease and the full extent of the damage is known—and intense floods have forced thousands of people out of their homes.

While the country rallies in support and aid of Tennessee, country music fans feel a particular sadness over the Grand Ole Opry House. The building that has served as an icon of country music for 85 years is currently under water. Restoration efforts will soon be underway to repair and restore the building. While the damage is nothing compared to the loss of life, you can’t help but feel regretful for the loss of history as well.
