Because Lisbon as a Mediterranean Climate that happens to be greatly influenced by the Gulf Stream, it creates one of the most mild, and one could even call it gentle, climates in Europe. There is not a lot of distinction between the seasons and nor extremes between the average highs and lows that are experienced during the day. On average, the daily high temperature is about 63 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, which few people will complain about. This is one of the reasons the city is so popular to live in, but great weather isn’t everything, right? Chicago and New York are also extremely popular cities, and the weather there is, well okay, this is Lisbon we’re talking about.

There are a lot of warm sunny days in this city, which creates a lot of time for guests in the hotels in Lisbon to enjoy afternoons in parks and engaged in recreational activities. The seasonal changes in Lisbon are interesting, and the summer is basically about six months long. It extends from May to October. The coldest months in Lisbon are typically December, January and February though the average daily highs during these months are in the upper fifties and lower sixties so there’s not too much concern with frozen plants or pipes .
